I would like to become a new patient, what do I need to do?

Feel free to simply call the office and talk to Heidi or Samantha. The office phone number is (231) 941-4106. Or simply stop by during office hours. You’ll need to fill out some paperwork including health history, and any insurance information as well.

I am very nervous about coming to the dentist, does your office have “laughing gas”?

Yes, Dr. Mantey can administer Nitrous Oxide or “laughing gas” to relax you during your dental treatment.

How do I find the office?

We are located on E. Carter Road right across from the Apache Trout Grill. Visit our Contact page for maps and directions.

I am in pain and have never been to your office, can I be seen soon?

Yes, please give us a call. We will give you an appointment as soon as we can!

Does your office take my insurance?

Our office takes multiple insurance plans, please give us a call to find out if we participate with your insurance plan.

Does your office have any sort of payment plan?

We are happy to provide you with one of the most common payment plans in the dental field: CareCredit. Especially in instances where there is no insurance, this allows you to receive treatment when you need it and break up payments over time.

Why should I come to the dentist twice a year?

Our office practices preventative dentistry where we strive to keep large oral health problems from developing. If you are seen regularly and have your teeth cleaned on a regular basis, small problems can be noticed early before they become big and costly problems later.

Why are my teeth sensitive?

There are many things that cause teeth to be sensitive.  Some of the common reasons are clenching and grinding, gum recession, and tooth decay. To address your sensitivity you will need to be examined by the dentist, and most likely have an X ray to diagnose your symptoms.
