Dr. Jason L. Mantey grew up on his family’s corn farm in Caro, Michigan.  He attended Lake Superior State University where he earned a bachelor of science in biology.  He then attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he earned his doctorate in dental surgery.

Dr. Mantey has had years of experience, and has been in private practice in Bay City and Gaylord as an associate dentist.  Recently Dr. Mantey took over the practice of Dr. Robert C. Howard, and moved with his family to Traverse City. He and his wife, Elise, have a two year old son, Lukas, and are expecting their second child in July.

Dr. Mantey enjoys spending time with his family, and enjoys all that northern Michigan has to offer, especially skiing and hunting.

He places an emphasis on continuing his education to stay current with the ever changing art and science of dentistry.
